The Scripture

What does it mean to go to a concert? Is it the pounding, pulsing drums that excite you? How about the sweat of you and fellow music lovers, all culminating into one moist, sticky pit? Could it, perhaps, be the scenery of a special, intimate moment, all playing out before your eyes. To go to a concert is sacred, a special tidbit of time that brings to life a bond between artist and listener. Please Her is here to absolutely ruin this idea- liiike totally obliterate everything you thought you knew about pop music and concert bonding.

Amidst the corn-ridden hellpit that is Indiana, lies a college town band on a mission to remix the idea of a show. A Please Her name on the lineup usually means showgoers will leave feeling inspired, excited, and a little bit weirded out. In the few, parting, intimate moments of playtime, Please Her fans find themselves singing, dancing, interacting with the band, and worshipping a scorpion. The group has mastered the art of presenting a fun, exciting act that can stand alone as a headliner or hype up any crowd regardless of genre as an opener. Welcome to church.

The band's original tunes are lighthearted, spicy, and funky; lyrically covering all ends of simpin' to pimpin' spectrum. Intricately mixing seventies lay-you-down soul with guitar-driven indie riffs, Please Her songs are dancy, gritty, and hilarious (in a hot way). The new cult sweeping college towns across the nation, she will be pleased. In Please Her's name, Amen.
